What is colocation hosting and how does it differ from a dedicated server?

With colocation ("colo") hosting, you own your server hardware and rent rack space, power, and connectivity within our Kent data centre. Unlike a dedicated server – where we supply and manage the hardware – colocation gives you full control over your equipment specification and eliminates recurring hardware costs. It's the ideal solution for businesses with existing infrastructure or bespoke hardware requirements.

How long will it take for my server to be fully operational once it has been delivered?

We aim to get all servers online within 1 business day of arrival. After payment we'll make contact to arrange delivery, and a public IP block will be assigned to your server ahead of installation.

Where is your data centre located?

Our colocation service is operated from our data centre in Kent, in the South East of England. The facility is easily accessible from the M25, with ample on-site parking and a dedicated meeting room available for customer visits.

Can I physically access my colocated server?

Yes. Customers can arrange escorted access to their equipment with as little as one hour's notice. The facility operates 24/7 with a manned security gatehouse, keycard entry, and full CCTV coverage. All access is logged. On-site toilets and a meeting room are available for longer visits.

What does remote hands support cover?

Our on-site engineers can carry out a wide range of tasks on your behalf, including remote KVM access, hardware and software troubleshooting, drive replacements, OS reboots, cable management, and other highly technical interventions. Remote hands is available 24/7 – contact us to discuss your requirements and pricing.
