pMachine has been renamed as EllisLab and thus is no longer under development. However, it does have good content syndication and also FTP support though it comes without WebDAV support and also is not WAI compliant. As far as its flexibility of use, it has CGI-mode support though there is nothing available in the commerce sphere and so, it does not have affiliate tracking or inventory management.
