Your <span id="urn:enhancement-83aceeac-2cad-fbf6-c605-c4dc9b6a74df" class="textannotation disambiguated wl-thing wl-no-link" itemid="http://data.wordlift.io/wl0226/entity/wordpress_2">WordPress</span> Theme may come with a choice of page <span id="urn:enhancement-3f100240-7878-c85e-4de3-db7a1a8133b4" class="textannotation disambiguated wl-thing wl-no-link" itemid="http://data.wordlift.io/wl0226/entity/web_template_system">templates</span> such as a portfolio page, or even a contact form, but how do you use these? This tutorial will show you how.
- Login to your WordPress Admin
- Hover over pages and click add new (or open a previously saved page)
- In the right hand sidebar is a box called Page Attributes, and in that an option called page template. Simply select the one you wish to use for this page, and then click publish.
Your page will now use the page template select, and in some cases there are some other steps to create portfolio items (you may see a section called portfolio in the main WordPress Admin navigation).
