Myself (Nick) and Elliot, the two directors of Enix Ltd who own and operate HostPresto!, have been Portsmouth residents since 2001 when we came to university. After graduating we both stayed and got our first jobs, got married, had kids (including our non physical baby Enix), all in Portsmouth; if we were ever to leave, I think we’d still refer to this place as “home” no matter where in the world we were.
Over the last few years Portsmouth, in particular Southsea has enjoyed a surge of local independent businesses, ranging from coffee shops, to restaurants & bars (it’s quickly becoming a craft beer Mecca of the south) to clothing shops, we even have our very own music festival Victorious. Elliot and I frequent many of these places, several times a week.

Even though HostPresto! has grown over the decade we’ve been in business and have customers all over the world (although we do have a large number from Portsmouth) and technically HostPresto! itself is based outside (Segensworth) we still consider ourselves a local, independant business, especially when comparing us to the giants of the industry such as GoDaddy and 123 Reg.
In a way if it wasn’t for Portsmouth, hostpresto.com probably wouldn’t exist today, as it’s here we made the contact and purchased our first hosting brand.
As a way of saying thank you in general and more specifically to all the places that we like to frequent, Elliot and I would like to offer free web hosting services to independent businesses of Portsmouth, this would include the website hosting & email services, we will even migrate your existing website for you and save you the hassle.
Whilst this offer may be appealing to some, I’m guessing at first glance some businesses might be thinking why they should move their hosting to some local company, even if it is free. We may be local but that doesn’t mean that our services are not competitive on a national/global scale, we’re actually the top rated web hosting & email provider on TrustPilot, and as I mentioned earlier, we’ve been doing this for over ten years now.

If you are a local, independant Portsmouth business and are interested in taking us up on this offer then feel free to get in touch. No catches, no terms (maybe a free keg of something hoppy from the many craft beer bars… just kidding!), just a free, professional hosting and email service for life.
